Description
The one-handed sword was the close combat weapon of choice of the medieval knight and could be used for cutting or thrusting depending on its design. Until about the mid-14th century, it usually featured a broader blade with sharp edges and was designed as a cutting weapon capable of dealing with light chainmail protection. Our reproduction may be used form the 11tfh cent on, until the 14th one.
High carbon steel blade, leather-wrapped grip. Length 97cm, blade 77cm, width of the blade 3,7cm, weight 1,25kg.
