Description
With quillons decorated with an open tri-lobed design, this sword is typical from the 15th cent. Its hilt is first leather covered, then by a threaded wire. Its length - and also so sword total length - clearly shows that this weapon is to be used one or two handed, therefore being called a one a half sword.
Length 124cm, weight 2kg. Steel blade. Hilt made of brass and bone. Scabbard made of wood, covered in leather with tinned brass brackets.
